Additional work is quoted separately. No additional repair begins without customer approval. The 10% discount applies to labour on qualifying repairs and maintenance completed directly by Casa and will be shown on the quotation. Materials, parts, specialist services and emergency attendance are excluded. Priority booking is subject to availability.

Frequently asked questions
Can I call Casa for free building advice?
All Casa Cares members can call us for free initial advice on damp concerns, structural questions, repairs, renovations and general building work. We are happy to talk through your plans or concerns and advise on the next steps. You can also send photographs by WhatsApp. Telephone or photo-based advice does not replace an on-site inspection, structural assessment or engineering calculations. Any separately required inspection, specialist service or building work is agreed and priced before proceeding.
Do you repair washing machines or other household appliances?
No. We repair and maintain buildings and their fixed installations. We do not repair household appliances such as washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, fridges, ovens or microwaves.
Why join Casa Cares if I do not need a repair today?
Casa Cares is designed to help you stay ahead of visible maintenance concerns, rather than only reacting when something goes wrong. Your joining assessment, photographic home record, annual visual review and planned maintenance visit give you a clearer picture of your home and a trusted local route to advice or repairs when needed.
What is Casa Cares?
Casa Cares is a planned home-maintenance membership that gives you an ongoing relationship with a trusted local team. It includes visual home reviews, free telephone advice on building work, one planned maintenance visit each membership year, priority booking and 10% off labour on qualifying additional work.
Is Casa Cares an insurance policy or emergency breakdown cover?
No. Casa Cares is a maintenance and visual-assessment membership. It is not home insurance, a warranty or emergency breakdown cover, and it does not include unlimited repairs or replacement parts.
How much does membership cost?
The Casa Cares Home price is £24.99 per month with no minimum term, or £274.99 paid upfront for a year. The Casa Cares Landlord price is £39.99 per month with no minimum term, or £439.99 upfront for a year. Your exact plan, payment schedule and start date are confirmed before membership begins.
What happens when I first join?
Casa confirms your property and postcode eligibility, then arranges your joining Home Health Assessment. We create a property record, take agreed photographs of visible areas and explain which items appear urgent, should be planned or simply monitored.
Is the Home Health Assessment a structural or RICS survey?
No. It is a non-invasive visual assessment of reasonably accessible areas. We do not open walls or ceilings, lift floors or guarantee that every concealed defect will be found. Specialist or regulated inspections can be recommended and quoted separately where appropriate.
Does the joining assessment use my annual 60-minute visit?
No. Your joining assessment creates the original home record and acts as your first annual visual review. Your planned maintenance visit of up to 60 minutes remains a separate membership benefit.
What can Casa do during the 60-minute maintenance visit?
The visit is intended for suitable minor, pre-agreed maintenance tasks that can be completed safely with normal access and the appropriate skills. Send details or photographs beforehand and Casa will confirm whether the task is suitable.
What is not suitable for the 60-minute visit?
Work at height or on roofs, anything needing scaffolding, gas or electrical work, structural or damp remedial work, and jobs that need specialist equipment. We’ll happily quote these separately, with your member discount on qualifying labour.
Can I divide the 60 minutes between several call-outs?
No. The benefit is one planned visit of up to 60 minutes during each membership year, not a bank of minutes. Any unused time has no cash value and cannot be carried into another visit or membership year.
Are materials and replacement parts included?
No. Materials, replacement parts, specialist equipment, waste disposal and similar costs are charged separately. Casa will explain and agree any additional cost before proceeding.
What if the work takes longer than one hour?
Casa will explain what has been completed and what remains. Additional labour or a return visit is quoted or agreed separately; no extra chargeable work begins without your approval.
Are repair call-outs included in the monthly price?
No. Members can request guidance and receive priority booking where reasonably practicable, but additional repair visits and labour are chargeable at the applicable member rate. The cost or member saving is agreed before work begins.
How does the 10% labour discount work?
Active members receive 10% off labour on qualifying repairs and maintenance completed directly by Casa. Your quotation shows the labour saving before you approve the work. Materials, parts, specialist work and emergency attendance are excluded. EICRs and rewire packages have their own separately displayed member prices or discounts.
Do members receive guaranteed same-day or out-of-hours attendance?
No. Priority booking means Casa aims to offer members earlier suitable appointments than comparable non-member enquiries, subject to safety, location, workload and availability. It is not a guaranteed emergency-response time.
Are boiler servicing, gas checks or electrical inspections included?
Not as standard membership benefits. Boiler servicing, gas-safety work, EICRs and other specialist services are optional and charged separately at the applicable member price. Regulated work is completed by appropriately qualified professionals.
Which homes are eligible?
Casa Cares is available for approved owner-occupied houses and privately rented houses in Greater Manchester and selected North West areas. Flats, apartments, mobile or park homes, business premises, HMOs and council or housing-association properties are not currently eligible unless Casa agrees otherwise in writing.
Can one membership cover more than one property?
No. Each membership covers one approved registered property. Landlords with more than one property need a separate approved membership for each home.
How are assessments, photographs and visits recorded?
Casa keeps a secure home record containing the joining assessment, agreed photographs, maintenance findings and visit history. Members can sign in to their read-only member area to review the information held for their home.
How long is the membership and can I cancel?
Monthly plans have no minimum term. Cancel before your next renewal and membership continues until the end of your current paid month, with no further monthly renewal charge. Annual plans cover 12 months paid upfront. Consumers who join remotely normally have a 14-day cooling-off period, subject to services requested during that period. See the terms for full cancellation details.
What happens if I move home?
Membership is linked to the approved property and does not transfer automatically. Contact Casa before moving and, subject to location and eligibility, we can discuss transferring the remaining membership or any available pre-sale or pre-purchase support.
