EICR & PORTABLE APPLIANCE TESTING
EICR and PAT testing in Greater Manchester.
Electrical safety checks for landlords and homeowners. Choose an EICR for the fixed electrical installation, PAT testing for portable appliances, or arrange both services together.

WHAT IS AN EICR?
A detailed health check for your fixed electrical installation.
An Electrical Installation Condition Report goes beyond a visual inspection. A suitably qualified electrical professional examines accessible parts of the installation and uses specialist equipment to test its safety and condition.
The report records damage, deterioration, defects and observations against the current wiring standard. It then confirms whether the installation is satisfactory or whether further action is required.

For homeowners
Homeowners are commonly advised to consider periodic inspection at least every ten years, or sooner where the previous report recommends it, the installation's condition is uncertain or warning signs appear.
For landlords
Landlords must follow the electrical-safety requirements applying to their property and tenancy. In England, rented-home installations generally require inspection and testing at least every five years, or sooner if specified by the report. Casa can also PAT test portable appliances supplied for use at the property and provide a digital record.
