Casa Cares offers a UK-wide Survey Cost Review for homeowners and buyers who already have a Level 2 or Level 3 survey report. We review the report and provide practical, indicative repair budget ranges, adjusted for the property's location. The review is carried out remotely; it does not include a visit to the property.
The usefulness of a cost range depends on the information in the survey. Some repairs can be budgeted from a clear description. Others may need measurements, photographs, opening-up or a specification before a reliable price can be given. Where the report does not provide enough detail, we will identify the uncertainty rather than present a precise figure based on guesswork.
A Survey Cost Review is not a replacement for the original survey, a structural assessment, a site inspection or a contractor's fixed quotation. It is intended to help you understand the likely scale of repairs described in the report and decide what further checks or quotations may be needed.
